- Since 2001 the Children’s and Families Protection ACT law has been in effect in Massachusetts. The law has several general components, which include but is not limited to.
- Pesticide use restrictions/limitations for indoors and outdoors
- A “right to know component” requiring notification and posting prior to the application of pesticides outdoors.
- Record keeping component requiring retention of pesticide application records.
- Creation, submission and maintenance of indoor & outdoor IPM-Plans.
