Public Health IPM Working Group: Overview

Many human diseases are caused or spread (vectored) by insects, vertebrates, or other organism. One well-known recent example is the West Nile virus, carried by some bird populations and spread to humans by mosquitoes.

The Public Health IPM Working Group deals with methods to protect public health from these threats.
