Presenter: Paul Weston, Woody Ornamentals Entomologist, Cornell University
Abstract:
Routine pest management of ornamentals still relies too heavily on pesticides and not enough on principles of IPM. I will present and overview of developing an IPM-based pest management program for woody plants in landscapes and nurseries, including a new system of establishing treatment thresholds for arthropod pests of ornamentals.
